HP wireless multimedia mouse and keyboard?

What you are experiencing is the very reason I gave up my wireless stuff and went back to the wired. It's USB, but at least if I hit a key it types. I don't have an explanation for your problem, I'm sorry to say. I doubt if HP does either. It's a sometime quirk of wireless keyboards.
