Christians, you are truely CORNERED this time!!?

So you Christians disclaim yourself from the O.T. because you say that God made those harsh rules for the Israelists. You say that God was approved killing chilren, slavery, , sacrifice, etc., because they were sinful people and they would turn to idol worship if God did not punish them harshly. Well how do you Christians explain the fact that modern poeple are even more evil than those Israelists and yet we are not applied by those harsh rules? You say Jesus died for our sins? So what? How many worship idols these days? Is that not the very thing God was trying to prevent? Yet we are given such humble rules to follow? Does God not rage upon s anymore?
