I hit a deep puddle with my car and stalled it. I drained the engine and it turns over, but doesn't start?
I hit a puddle (roughly the size of a lake) after a huge monsoon we had here yesterday. It stalled, so I parked it. I let it dry overnight. When I came back it refused to turn over, so I took the spark plugs out, turned it over to blow the water out (which looked awesome), let it dry, and then replaced the spark plugs. It turns over now, which is a definite improvement, but when it sounds like it's going to ignite, it clunks and shudders a bit and doesn't start.. Is this because of a bent rod? something worse?
