Would it be worth it to learn Finnish?

I'm learning Finnish right now, and I know I will use it with my family and whenever I go to Finland (I'm still in high school). I am more than willing to work through all of the difficulties (you have to, to learn a new language, right?) but I'm just wondering of what use Finnish is in "real life" (as you adults are _always_ calling it). I'm still going to learn it, even if it's practically worthless anywhere other than Finland, so this won't influence if I continue or not.
