What should I get as my first Airsoft Gun?

Okay, for almost a year i have been researching and yzing different airsoft guns, and i have finally narrowed my search down to two guns. I have chosen either the Echo 1 Full Metal Scar, or the WE Full Metal Gas Blowback Scar. I am having trouble making the finally descision given this will be my first airsoft rifle, yet i am proficient in the sport. My pros for the aeg would be that - it holds more rounds, it may be cheaper in the long run. it would cost me ($210 gun, $24 metal hop up, $13 bbs, $35 9.6 battery $22 smart charger = $300 something?) My cons for the aeg are - the hop up is known to be terrible, however i am planning on purchasing a metal hop up with the gun and it's electric. My pros for the ggb are - the recoil, the easy disembly, the blowback system and the total cost of the gun along with all the extras i have to buy for it ($260 gun + $13 bbs + $15 gas = $288) my cons for the ggb however are - cost of gas over time, low amount of rounds (30), cost of magazines ($40) and amount of maintainence, although i like to tinker with things. so please, if anyone owns a WE Scar, and they have good things to say, or an Echo 1 Scar (with a better hop up lol) please please help me decide which will be the best gun in the long run, which will be the most cost effective, and which will last me the longest if i take good care of it. thank you. My descision will be purely based upon what yahoo voters think, and i will post a review of the chosen gun on youtube when i receive it. thank you again.
