How to get motivated to eat healthy?

We ALWAYS have some kind of sweet dessert around my house, whether it's cake to cookies or fattening bars or even just candy bars. So people are always munching or eating on them. And I was just wondering if there was anything I could do to get myself motivated to start eating healthier and cut sweets out, even though their right in front of me/ and people will always be eating it. How can I not be so tempted to with them?
